Where to Eat & What to See in AAPI Los Angeles
A neighborhood guide to Greater L.A.
Organized around the districts our AAPI elected officials represent — celebrating the communities, cuisines, and landmarks of Greater L.A. Below the districts, a "Beyond the Districts" section rounds up citywide favorites — tacos, rooftops, coffee, and iconic eats — for your downtime. Everything is within roughly a 20-mile radius of the summit hotel.

Prices: $ = under ~$15/person · $$ = ~$15–35 · $$$ = $35+ / reservations advised. Drive times are approximate and measured off-peak from the JW Marriott — L.A. traffic can double them at rush hour. "Beyond the Districts" gathers citywide favorites that fall outside the represented districts (or that are best browsed by craving); food trucks move, so check their socials the day-of. A note on accuracy: some June 2026 municipal rosters were still being verified at publication; confirm an official's current title before citing it formally. JANM's main Pavilion in Little Tokyo is closed for renovation through late 2026.
